Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Game Drive & Sunset Relaxation

Your unforgettable safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, you'll drive to the magnificent Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, ancient elephant herds, and rich birdlife.
Enjoy a thrilling morning game drive, exploring the Tarangire River which draws a host of wildlife. Around midday, settle down at a scenic picnic site for a bush lunch surrounded by nature.
Later in the afternoon, continue the game drive en-route to your mid-range lodge or tented camp far from or near the park. Arrive just in time to relax, refresh, and enjoy a delicious dinner as the African sun dips below the horizon.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Scenic Wildlife Encounters

After breakfast, drive to the nearby Lake Manyara National Park, a hidden gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. This Park offers rich biodiversity, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and shimmering soda lake teeming with flamingos.
Spend the morning on a game drive, followed by a picnic lunch within the park. In the afternoon, continue exploring or simply enjoy the breathtaking landscape.

Later, drive to Karatu, a charming town on the escarpment, where you’ll check in at your mid-range lodge. Unwind with a warm shower, a hearty dinner, and a good night’s rest.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Highlands to Serengeti National Park – Afternoon Safari

Today’s journey is one of the most scenic of the trip. After breakfast, travel through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, passing Maasai villages and stunning views, until you reach the main gate of Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy a packed lunch at Naabi Hill Gate, then begin your first Serengeti game drive in the endless plains that define Africa’s most iconic wildlife haven. Expect to encounter big cats, herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and much more.

Arrive at your comfortable tented camp in time for sunset. Enjoy your evening around the fire or with a drink in hand, soaking in the magic of the Serengeti’s open skies.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Safari – Sunrise to Sunset Exploration

Rise early for a spectacular sunrise game drive, when predators are most active and the golden light paints the savannah in breathtaking hues. This is the perfect time to spot lions, leopards, and cheetahs on the move.

Return to camp for a late breakfast or brunch, then relax during the heat of the day. In the afternoon, venture out again to explore different regions of the Serengeti, perhaps following the great migration or seeking out the Big Five.

Wind down your day back at the camp, where dinner and a starlit sky await.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Game Drive En-Route

After breakfast, enjoy one last game drive in the Serengeti as you gradually make your way out of the park toward Ngorongoro.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way, then check into a mid-range lodge perched on the crater rim or nearby, where you’ll relax and prepare for tomorrow’s adventure. The views are stunning, and the air is fresh at this higher altitude.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha

Rise early and descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Africa’s densest concentration of wildlife.

Explore this natural wonder with a half-day game drive on the crater floor, where you may spot endangered black rhinos, large lion prides, elephants, and flocks of flamingos.

After a memorable wildlife experience, enjoy your final picnic lunch by a hippo pool, then begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
